Educator

I got my Master’s degree in Music Education from Sibelius Academy in 2012 with afro-american vocals as my main instrument. I started teaching while still studying and by now I’ve taught band musicianship, guitar, music production and project studio acoustics in private, public and the third sector to students ranging from beginners to undergraduates and beyond. The educational institutions I’ve worked for include the Sibelius Academy, the Helsinki Pop & Jazz Conservatory, the Metropolia University of Applied Sciences and the Theatre Academy Helsinki. In the voluntary sector I’ve taught people with mental or physical disabilities and right now I work half-time for mental health organization Kukunori as a music production and studio consultant.
